The town of Rethymno is an ideal place to stay for someone who wants to visit the island of Crete. A lovely town, with a wonderful 11km long sandy beach, a very picturesque old town with Venetian and Turkish monuments, narrow streets with old houses, a picturesque Venetian port and an impressive Venetian castle. Rethymno offers many things to do and see and has an alive nightlife.
Rethymno’s location, in about the middle of the north coast of Crete, makes it convenient to visit the most of the island’s beauties. Within thirty minutes to an hour, the traveler can visit lakes, caves, beautiful springs, formed waterfalls, old mills, hiking trails, gorges, archaeological sites, museums, historic churches and monasteries, charming villages, the wild unspoiled beauty of the south, by public bus, organized tour, or a car.
Our rooms are ideally located in the center of the old town, the most picturesque and active part of the town. Our building lies in between the seafront and the main market street of the old town. We have two entrances, one from Arkadiou str. which is the main shopping street of the old town of Rethymno and another entrance from El. Venizelou str., which is the road by the sea in the old town.
